7th Religion: Unit 1 Performance Assessment You are a 7th grade religion teacher in charge of writing 4 prayers for Thursdays Mass. Create and Label one prayer in 4 of the 5 styles that could be used for the weekly Mass using what you already know about the 5 prayer types. Each prayer should be between 7-10 lines long and reflect daily needs of yourself or others. Prayers Relevance	Poor The prayers are missing and/or not relevant to the prayer type.	Fair The prayers are somewhat relevant to the prayer types, however they lack substance and understanding of the topic.	Good The prayers are reflective of their prayer types, yet lack an in-depth understanding of each prayer type.	Excellent The prayers demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of each prayer type and display deeper thinking about the content of the prayer.
Prayer Types	Poor The student did not label their prayer types.	Fair The student did not label enough of their prayer types and/or did not list accurate prayer types.	Good The student labeled most of their prayer types, and they were mostly correct.	Excellent The student labeled all of their prayer types, and they were all correct.
Length	Poor The student did not meet the 7-10 sentence requirement for any of the prayers.	Fair The student did not meet the 7-10 sentence requirement for most of their prayers. (More than 3)	Good The student did not meet the 7-10 sentence requirement for some of their prayers. (1-2)	Excellent The student met the 7-10 sentence requirement for all of their prayers.
