Apprentice The artwork demonstrates some personal expression and a little originality.	Novice The artwork demonstrates little personal expression or problem solving skills.
Personality Profile 40 pts Incorporates personality profile characteristics to communicate about self.	Innovator Develops and incorporates personality characteristics as an integral part of the composition to elaborate on the concept of self to a high degree. All 4 areas of personality are portrayed with details pertaining to personality.	Expert Incorporates personality characteristics as an integral part of the composition to elaborate on the concept of self. All 4 areas of personality are present and some details pertaining to personality are portrayed.	Proficient Personality characteristics have been considered in the composition to elaborate on the concept of self but are undeveloped. Some details are portrayed.	Apprentice Few personality characteristics have been considered in the composition to elaborate on the concept of self. Only a few details are portrayed.	Novice Personality characteristics were not considered as a central theme of the product. Little or no details portrayed.
Visual Aesthetics/Effort 30 pts Time dedicated to the project with attention to detail, and commitment to high quality product.	Innovator The work shows thoughtful and thorough attention to details. The student clearly put forth the highest quality of effort and used class time very well.	Expert The work shows thought and attention to detail. The student put forth effort and used class time well.	Proficient The work shows thought and some attention to detail. The student put forth an average amount of effort and usually used class time well.	Apprentice The work shows a little thought and attention to detail. The student put forth little effort and did not use class time well.	Novice The work shows very little thought or attention to detail. The student did not put forth the effort to produce a quality product. The work may seem incomplete.
