Physical Education Rubric
	Fail 1 pts	Satisfactory 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Attendance and punctuality	Fail Student is late everyday to class unexcused or has not been changed for gym class	Satisfactory Student has not participated in warm activities 2 – 3 times due to late arrival or not being prepared for gym class	Good Student is usually dressed appropriately for gym and normally begins warm up activities on time	Excellent Student is consistently dressed appropriately for gym and punctually begins warm up activities.
Level of Engagement	Fail Student chooses not to participate or remain on task during warm activities.	Satisfactory Student needs to be reminded to participate during warm up activities more than a couple of times.	Good Student usually participates during warm up activities everyday with vigor.	Excellent Student always participates during warm up activities and is totally engaged everyday. Consistently on task and never needs reminding to participate.
Respect and listens to authority	Fail Student needs to be reminded constantly to show respect to others and/or follow directions. Student is caught threatening and/or harassing other classmates.	Satisfactory Student need to be reminded to show respect to others twice in the week and or follow directions.	Good Student had to be reminded once to respect others and/or follow directions.
