Very Good-Excellent - Content is comprehensive, accurate, and persuasive. - Major points are stated clearly and are well supported. - Research is adequate and timely. - Content and purpose of the writing are clear. - Interesting to read.
Organization & Structure 20 pts	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the message of the writer. - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts. - Paper does not develop in a logically consistent manner.	Fair-Good - Structure of the paragraph is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement. - Some logical organization present (chronological, hierarchical, thematic, etc.)	Very Good-Excellent - Structure of the paragraph is clear and easy to follow. -Flow of ideas fluid and logical. - Organization transparent, logical, and helpful. - A pleasure to read.
