Neatness/Effort 20 pts	Outstanding Excellent quality. The handwriting and/or artwork truly represent the students best efforts. Papers are neatly cut and glued.	Good Good quality. The handwriting is neat and coloring is nicely done. Papers are cut and glued in as directed.	Fair Acceptable quality. The handwriting is legible and coloring is complete.	Poor Handwriting is illegible in some areas, coloring is incomplete or carelessly done, writing is smudged, and/or papers are crumpled.
Organization 20 pts	Outstanding Notebook is very organized with ALL pages in the correct order.	Good Notebook organized, but some pages are out of order.	Fair Notebook is a bit disorganized with more than a few pages out of order.	Poor Notebook is totally disorganized. Most of the pages are out of order.
Headings 20 pts	Outstanding Headings are present on all necessary pages.	Good Headings are missing on one page.	Fair Missing or incorrect headings on 2 pages.	Poor Three-four headings are missing or illegible.
Notes/Labels 20 pts	Outstanding All notes and labels are clearly stated and present.	Good The majority of notes and labels are clearly stated and present. Only 1 page has missing notes/labels.	Fair No more than 2 pages have missing notes/labels.	Poor No more than 3-4 pages have missing notes/labels. Student did not make corrections as directed.
