PUNCTUALITY	Excellent Student is on time regularly or early for class.	Good Student is usually on time or early (one or two tardies).	Poor Student is often late, four or more times.
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR	Excellent Student often asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions. Does not use cell phone or other devices for non-academic purposes.	Good Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions. May have used cell phone or other devices for non-academic purposes.	Poor Student never participates in class, does not participate in pair/group discussions.
ASSIGNMENTS	Excellent Assignments - written or otherwise - are consistently turned in ON TIME and in the proper format.	Good Assignments - written or otherwise - are inconsistently turned in ON TIME and in the proper format.	Poor Assignments - written or otherwise - are NEVER turned in ON TIME and/or in the proper format.
PREPARATION	Excellent Student is consistently prepared for class with assignments and required materials. Student takes notes without being prompted to.	Good Student is usually prepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.	Poor Student is almost always unprepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.
