Participation Rubric

This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1

Teamwork	Poor Not on-task or paying attention to the game.	Fair Paying partial attention and helping the team somewhat.	Good Mainly on-task and worked productively to help the team.	Excellent On-task and actively helping the team.
Level of Involvement	Poor Did not contribute to the game by spelling or running.	Fair contributed to game by offering help and running when absolutely necessary.	Good proactively contributed to game by offering guidance as to what needed to be acquired and paying attention to what needed to be gotten when it was their turn to run.	Excellent consistently knew what the word was, and what letters were needed, and when it was their turn to run.
Receptivness to material	Poor Student vocalizes inappropriate and negative emotions regarding presented material.	Fair Student mostly negative about presented material.	Good Student mostly positive about material presented.	Excellent Student is positive about material presented.
