iRubric: Cosmetology Hair styling, Thermal Iron, Blow Drying rubric

Student should have dried hair &/or ironed hair in a professional manner. Student needed a high level of supervision to complete the blow dry and curl/straightened section. Had difficulty with all of the following tasks. Was mostly unable to do the following tasks & gave up:
1. clip hair out of way to dry each section
2. manipulate the iron

Student needed several reminders to complete the blow dry and curl/straightened section.
Had difficulty with both of the following tasks but did not give up until ironing:
1. clip hair out of way to dry each section
2. manipulate the iron

Student needed a few reminders to complete the blow dry and curl/straightened section. Had difficulty with one of the following tasks but did not give up:
1. clip hair out of way to dry each section
2. manipulate the iron

Student was able to listen to directions to complete the blow dry and curl/straightened section independently. Had no difficulty with the following tasks and did not give up:
1. clip hair out of way to dry each section
2. manipulate the iron

Student doesn't remember to adjust manekin head to so that work can be done easier. Doesn't rewet hair during four section activities.
Allows floor to become soaked with water rather than to use additional towelsl.

Uniform attire is not complete, and lacks attention to one's personal hygene.

Uniform attire is complete but shows uncleanliness and unkempt conditions. Personal hygene is attended to.

Uniform attire is complete, clean, and well prented with personal hygene.

Uniform attire is beyond expected. Student demonstrates ability to recognize and display appropriate workplace attire from head to toe.

Student demonstrates a negative attitude. Talks out of place, disrupts classroom. Reacts negative to criticism. Stops working.

Student demonstates a nuetral attitude. Needs to be encouraged daily. Unable to take critism. Distracted with work.

Student demonstrates a positive attitude. Able to take criticism and use it to their advantage. The student improves their work and strives to achieve goals. A good team player.

Student demonstrates a possitive attitude and has the ability to recognize and display appropriate workplace attitudes. This student goes beyond by helping other, encourages a positive attitude, and strives to achieve their goal. A Excellent team player!
