The student shows complete understanding , and use of the elements and principles of design.	Satisfactory The artwork is planned carefully; understanding of most concepts and instructions is demonstrated. The student shows some understanding , and use of the elemnts and principles of design.	Good The art work is planned adequately; understanding of some concepts and instructions demonstrated. The student shows little concept of the principles and elements of design.	Fail The artwork shows little evidence of understanding the concepts and little to no research. The student is unclear in their thinking and doesn't fully demonstrate using the elements and principles of design.
Skill & Craftsmanship	Excellent The artwork shows outstanding craftsmanship,with clear attention to control, adaptation, selection and experimentation of medium/media.	Satisfactory The artwork shows good craftmanship, with some attention to control, adaptation, selection and experimentation of medium/media.	Good The artwork shows average craftmanship and average attention to control, adaptation, selection and experimentation of medium/media.	Fail The artwork shows minimal craftmanship and little attention to control, adaptation, selection and experimentation of medium/media.
Creativity & Originality	Excellent The artwork demonstrates original personal expression and outstanding problem solving skills.
