Weld width and height:	Advanced Bead is uniform width all along the length of each welld. Has a smooth appearance	Proficient Bead maintains width and length. Shows some small blemishes along the weld	Basic Not a uniform thickness through out the weld. Thickness goes to extremes	Below Basic Weld is cut off in places, not uniform along the weld. Shows bare spots	Total Points
Appearance	Advanced Weld shows a constant speed and uniformity the entire length	Proficient Weld shows a constant speed with some blemishes that are minimal	Basic Weld shows definite areas of speeding up and slowing down. Ripples tend to be coarse	Below Basic Weld has been done to fast or to slow. Weld is not complete	Total Points
Face of bead:	Advanced Has a nice rounded look. Is not overly high, or low. Bead covers a wide area of each weld.	Proficient Bead is well rounded, mostly uniform over the length of the weld. Penetration	Advanced Weld penetrates deep into the metal and adds strength and fusion to the edges and depth.
