Respiratory System Model Rubric Respiratory System Model Rubric The students will work in pairs to create a model of the respiratory system, including both the upper and lower respiratory tract. Respiratory System Structures	Advanced The work done exceeds all expectations. The structures are easily distinguishable. All structures are accurately detailed.	Proficient The work is done with fair effort. Respiratory system structures are not distinguishable. More detail is needed in order to identify respiratory system parts.	Basic The work was done with good effort. Most of the respiratory system parts are distinguishable. Most of the respiratory system parts are detailed accurately.	Below Basic The work is done with poor effort. Structures are not detailed, they look like unformed and/or misshapen making them indistinguishable.
Labeled Structures	Advanced All structures are labeled and placed correctly.	Proficient Most structure are labeled and placed correctly.	Basic Half of the structure are labeled and placed correctly.	Below Basic Most structures are labeled and placed correctly.
Creativity	Advanced Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes. Artwork is the students own & is neat. Writing is easy to read.	Proficient Contains students own writing and drawing.Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece	Basic Not very appealing. Appearance	Advanced Project is of exceptional quality and presentation. Nothing hanging or falling off. Submitted on time.	Proficient Project is correct size, clean and neatly displayed. No items falling off. Submitted on due date.	Basic Project is damaged, poorly presented. Some items possibly falling off.	Below Basic Not in required format and/or submitted late. Pieces/items falling or hanging off.
