Student Road Trip Project Student Road Trip Project 1. Your group will be taking a 7 day, 6 night round trip to a chosen destination in North America. 2. You must choose at least 4 points of interest you'd like to visit during your trip. You will research each point and write about them in your journals. 3. Your entire group will have a budget of $7,000. Journals	Poor Very little information, does not follow day by day guide and very little to no math is shown in the math log. Grammar and sentence structure are poorly demonstrated throughout journal.	Fair Some information is included, somewhat follows day by day guide and little math is shown in the math log. Some Grammar and sentence structure are incorrectly displayed throughout journal.	Good Appropriate amount of information included, student followed day by day guide and correct math is shown in the math log. Grammar and sentence structure are correctly displayed throughout journal.
Research and Destinations	Poor Had very little or none of the required information.	Fair Had almost all of the required information.	Good - Chose a destination and at least 4 points of interest, researched each point and were able to write about them in your journals.
Mathematical Information	Poor Had very little or none of the required information and math is incorrect or non-existent.	Fair Had almost all of the required information. Some math is incorrect.	Good - Group stayed under $7,000 budget. - Chose restaurants and what the cost of the meal is. - Group logged costs and any equations they are using to calculate the budget, cost of gas, etc.
Presentation	Poor - Students were not able to present clearly with all information that was required. Their presentation was unorganized and not very well executed.	Fair - Students were able to present somewhat clearly with some information that was required. Their presentation was organized and well executed.	Good Presentation day. Each group will present their vacation to the class. Read stories, tell about points of interest, show scrapbooks, take questions, etc. - Students were able to present clearly with all information that was required.
