Consistently stays focused on the task and what needs to be done. Very self-directed. Student follows directions with regard to chart, takes their time, shows interest and does not touch or get into equipment that is NOT part of the experiment.
Good-Fair

Focuses on the task and what needs to be done most of the time. Baisically shows interest and follows procedure. Student needed some reminders to stick to procedure
Poor

Rarely focuses on the task and what needs to be done. Does not follow procedure and needs constant reminders. Shows no interest, just randomly touching items with no purpose.
Thoroughness and Detail /10

Excellent

Student gave detailed descriptions and answers with a indicating a compete understanding of the attraction of water molecules and the explanations for it; student answered all questions independently and provided neat and labelled diagram of water molecule.
Good-Fair

Student completed description with some detail; student filled in required columns; no extras; student indicated an understanding of water cohesion but required some assistance to qnswer questions
Poor

Student made little effort; descriptions were not detailed and very basic and teacher/EA had to consistently lead student - no effort. Student did not give experiement full attention.
