Letter Sounds Student awareness of letter sounds.
	Basic 0-3 picture 1 pts	Intermediate 4-6 pictures 2 pts	Proficiency 7-10 pictures 3 pts
Identification Student will identify and fill in a specific letter/sound.	Basic Student will fill in the missing letter/sound from 0-2 pictures.	Intermediate Student will fill in the missing letter/sound from 3-4 pictures.	Proficiency Student will fill in the missing letter/sound from 5-6 pictures.
Labeling Student will sound out a a word from a picture	Basic Student produces the individual sounds for clip art pictures and circle the correct word > 2.	Intermediate Student produces the individual sounds for clip art pictures and circle the correct word >3.	Proficiency Student produces the individual sounds for clip art pictures and circle the correct word >4.
