	Beginning 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Dribble Basketball	Beginning Student cannot dribble the basketball.	Developing Student can dribble and control the basketball some of the time.	Proficient Student can dribble and control the basketball with both hands most of the time.	Excellent Student can dribble and control the basketball with both hands all of the time.
Shoot Basketball	Beginning Student cannot shoot the ball successfully. Student does not follow through.	Developing Student can shoot the ball correctly some of the time. Student sometimes follows through.	Proficient Student can use two hands to shoot the ball correctly and follows through most of the time.	Excellent Student can use two hands to shoot the ball correctly and follows through all of the time.
Chest Pass	Beginning Student cannot pass ball	Developing Student can pass ball from chest at target some of the time	Proficient Student can pass ball from chest, step, and follow through with arms most of the time	Excellent Student can pass ball chest, step, and follow through with arms all the time
