Role Play Role Play You will be put into groups of 2 and will be asked to create a short play. After creating a short role play, your group will then perform your role play to a class. Rubric Code: C2XB779 By caritol Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: Presentation Grade Levels: 6-8

Good Students were on task for most of the planning time and developed a well thought out skit.	Needs-Improvement Students were off task for most of the time of planning and didn't develop a well thought out skit.	Poor Students were off task all of the planning time and there was no thought developed.
Performance(Individual)	Excellent Student performed using emotion, movement, facial expression, dialogue and empathy in character. Stayed in role at all times.	Good Student performed using emotion, movement, dialogue and empathy in character. Stayed in role most of the time.	Needs-Improvement Student performed using emotion, dialogue and movement in character. Stayed in role some of the time.	Poor Student performed using dialogue and movement in character. Did not stay in role.
Presentation	Excellent Students made a strong connection to the subject during the presentation or of the material and did so in a believable manner.
