Above Level The student has produced an organized report with an introduction, main body and a conclusion.	At Expected Level The student has produced some of the features of a report but other elements are lacking.	Below Level The student has tried to produce some of the features of a report but needs to refer to the criteria sheet.
Research & Content	Well Above Level The student has selected a wealth of appropriate information about their topic and presented it in an engaging format.	Above Level The student has selected appropriate information about their topic and presented it effectively.	At Expected Level The student has selected some appropriate information about their topic and presented it acceptably.	Below Level The student has selected some information about their topic but it is poorly presented or plagiarized.
Grammar, spelling, punctuation & pa	Well Above Level A fine range of vocabulary has been used and there are no punctuation or spelling errors.	Above Level A good range of interesting words has been used and there are fewer than 3 spelling or punctuation mistakes.	At Expected Level The student has used some interesting words and there are fewer than 6 spelling or punctuation mistakes.	Below Level The student has used very basic language and grammar. There are many spelling and punctuation errors and little evidence of paragraphing.
