Grip Technique

Needs improvement (E)

* Hands are not at least hip width apart.
*Hand placement is incorrect and needs improvement. Student does not have much control of stick.
Developing (C)

* Hands are sometimes at least hip width apart.
*Hand placement is mostly correct but needs improvement. Student sometimes has control of stick.
Excellent (A)

* Hands are at least hip width apart.
*Top hand is palm down and bottom hand has palm up, student has full control of stick.
Carrying ball/Dribbling Technique

Needs improvement (E)

*Does not keep ball in center of blade and can somewhat move along the floor keeping stick/ball contact.
*Can use short taps or pushes to manipulate the ball with their head down.
*Can not "feel" the ball on the stick and loses contact with the ball often.
*Rarely keeps the ball in front while keeping head up and using short taps on the stick.
*Uses one side of the blade.
