Wood Burning Scroll Saw Project Final Student must find a picture using the computer and enlarge it. They must trace it on hard wood using using carbon paper. Student will next choose whats positive and negative space. They are to cut out negative. Woodworking Project
	Beginning 1 pts	Developing 3 pts	Achieving 4 pts	Excelling 5 pts
Project layout	Beginning Student needs to have layout shown, step by step.<BR> Follows as instructor marks measurements.	Developing Student has some idea of the layout process. Is able to make some measurements.	Achieving Student follows plans, independantly. Marks out lenghts and angles to be cut.	Excelling Student follows plans and masters project layout.
Craftmanship	Beginning Project has many errors, student did not apply given talent. Didn't care to finish project.	Developing Project has two minor errors, student applied given talent to satisfactory standards.	Achieving Project well built. Student applied skills and talent to be successful.	Excelling Project built to perfection. Able to be sold in a store.
Woodburnng	Beginning Project was wood burned, but little detail and effort were applied.	Developing wood burning had two minor imperfections.	Achieving Wood burning was good but could have used a little more effort.	Excelling Project wood burning was completed to perfection.
Time Line	Beginning Student refused to do project, but was drawn on wood.	Developing Student effort was lacking for completed assignment.	Achieving Students worked in class on project, but could of put in a little bit more effort.	Excelling Student used time wisely and came in extra to complete project on time.
Project Chosen	Beginning Not worth talking about.	Developing Scale of difficulty 3-5.	Achieving Scale of difficulty 5-7	Excelling Scale of difficulty 8-10.
