Organization	Exceeds Expectaions Writing includes 4-5 sensory details. Follows a logical progression of events.	Meets Expectations Writing includes 2-3 sensory details. Mostly follows a logical progression of events.	Does Not Yet Meet Expectations Writing includes 1 or fewer sensory details. Sometimes follows a logical progressioin of events.
Reflection	Exceeds Expectaions Reflection is insightful and thoughtful and reveals the significance of the event.	Meets Expectations Reflection is adequate and captures the feelings of the student.	Does Not Yet Meet Expectations Reflection is minimal and may be limited to only a summary.
Mechanics & Neatness	Exceeds Expectaions Capitalization and punctuation rules are followed. Project is neat and legible.	Meets Expectations Contains few capitalization and/ or punctuation errors. Project is somewhat neat and legible.	Does Not Yet Meet Expectations Contains several capitalization and/or punctuation errors. Project lacks neatness and is difficult to read.
