3D Model of An Insect Creating An Insect Students will be using various materials of choice to create a 3D insect. It must be labeled to show 5 body parts ie. head, body, antenna, wings (if any), legs, stinger, eyes and also include any identifying markings. EX. Insect Body Parts
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Understood New Concept	Poor Does not have any of the 5 insect body parts labeled. Spelling may also be incorrect.	Fair Has some of the body parts but may be missing two or three parts. May or may not need wings. May include spelling errors.	Good Has almost all of the body parts but may be missing one. May or may not need wings. Up to 1 spelling error.	Excellent Has properly labeled 5 body parts correctly. head, thorax, abdomen, antenna, and legs. Wings are included if needed. No spelling errors.
Craftmanship	Poor Pieces or parts of the insect are scattered and not easily recognizable.	Fair Pieces are apart. Hard to identify it as an insect.	Good Pieces are together but are not in the correct location. Looks like an insect.	Excellent Pieces are together And looks complete. Pieces are All in the correct location. Easily looks like an insect.
Used Time Wisely	Poor Did not complete project on time.	Fair Completed project on time however presentation does not look well thought out.	Good Completed project in allotted time given.	Excellent Took time to think out project and utilized time appropriately. 2 extra points given for being completed before due date.
