Filtering Thoughts/Focus	No Attempt at Mastery Student requires more than 4 prompts to filter his thoughts, blurt out and/or make noises	Basic Student requires more than 3-4 prompts to filter his thoughts, blurt out and/or make noises	Emerging Student requires more than 2-3 prompts to filter his thoughts, blurt out and/or make noises	Achieved Student requires more than 1-2 prompts to filter his thoughts, blurt out and/or make noises
Follow Directions	No Attempt at Mastery Student was unable to follow directions due to being off task or unwillingness to work.	Basic Student followed the directions but required 3-4 prompts to work and/or answer questions.	Emerging Student followed the directions but required 2-3 prompts to work and/or answer questions.	Achieved Student followed directions and answered questions with 1-2 prompts.
