Shoot the ball in a high arc towards the basket. Jump and shoot in the air.

students are able to perform a successful set shot using proper form all the time. Knees bent, uses legs when shooting, proper follow throw, Use the strong hand for power, direction and distance, holding the ball underneath. student does not actively try to participate in the game. Does not move around or try to get open and try to be a part of the game, does not use proper skills.

student only moves when their team has the ball, does not play defense, only passes to certain players, tries to use new skills.

student is generally enthused about the game, tries to get open and pass to others that are open, tries most of the time to use skills taught to them.

student is engaged in the game communicating with others, passing to everyone who is open, trying to get open themselves, uses the proper skills they have been taught.
