Patient Education: Drug Brochure Patient Education: Drug Brochure The students will put together a brochure related to educating patients that are newly prescribed to the medication. The brochure will contain information that the students collected regarding the assigned drug. Brochure Content	Excellent -The brochure includes extensive information and includes all of the following key components: drug (generic and brand name),action, side effects, adverse reactions, contraindications, dosage, and key educational points for the patient -The information is presenting in language that is easy for the patient to understand	Good -The brochure has some meaningful information but left out key components	Fair -Some relevant information is in the brochure. -Information is presented in an unorganized fashion -Multiple components of the drugs were left out of the brochure	Poor -Brochure has little to no information that is relevant. -Information is presented in an unorganized fashion. -Brochure is missing most of the key components
Quality/Creativity	Excellent -The work was done well, the brochure is creative and well constructed. The brochure is above expectations and looks professionally created	Good -The work was done with good effort but minimal creativity is demonstrated-It is evident that time was put into this brochure and presentation.	Fair -Work is done with fair effort, but lacks creativity-It is evident that the work was rushed and not well constructed	Poor -Work is done with little effort, and does not demonstrate any creativity-It is evident that the student put little to no time into the project.
Style/Mechanics	Excellent -The brochure is organized and is not just a list of facts. -The brochure is presented in a dynamic and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.	Good -The brochure is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. -Good clear presentation.
