Listening	Excellent Student was focused and attentive and showed great listening skills throughout lesson.	Good Student was mostly focused and attentive and showed some listening skills throughout lesson.	Fair Student was somewhat focused and attentive and showed some listening skills throughout lesson.	Poor Student was not focused and inattentive and did not show great listening skills throughout lesson.
Identifying Pictures and Words	Excellent Student found three pictures for each digraph and was able to identify and write down each word under the correct digraph in each column.	Good Student found at least 2 pictures for each digraph and was able to identify and write down each word under the correct digraph in each column.	Fair Student found at least 1 pictures for each digraph and was able to identify and write down each word under the correct digraph in each column.	Poor Student did not find any pictures for each digraph and was able to identify and was unable to write down each word under the correct digraph in each column.
Participation	Excellent Student showed great participation skills during lesson by reading, sharing ideas, and made great contributions to his/her group.	Good Student showed some participation skills during lesson by reading, shared some ideas, and made some contributions to his/her group.	Fair Student showed few participation skills during lesson by reading, shared few ideas, and made few contributions to his/her group.	Poor Student did not show any participation skills during lesson by reading and did not share ideas, and made no contributions to his/her group.
Digraph Word Sort & Sentences	Excellent Student was able to master the word sort activity and formed complete sentences using 4 of the digraph words.	Good Student understood most of the word sort activity and formed some complete sentences using 3-4 of the digraph words.	Fair Student had some trouble with the word sort activity and had trouble forming complete sentences using 2-3 of the digraph words.	Poor Student was unable complete the word sort activity and was unable to form complete sentences but used 1-2 of the digraph words. and showed no understanding of digraphs.
