Thinking with eyes	Introduction Needs constant adult prompts and cues to think with eyes.	Emerging Uses eyes to think about others during routines (small group). Prompts or cues needed often.	Proficient Somewhat consistent use of eyes to think about others. Minimal prompts/cues.	Independent Uses eyes to think about others in a manner consistent with the peer group. Cues or reminders at a rate similar to others.
Body in Group	Introduction Needs constant prompts and cues to keep his body in the group	Emerging Wanders away from the group, following own agenda. Prompts and cues needed often.	Proficient somewhat consistently keeps his body in the group, following group agenda. Minimal prompts cues.	Independent Keeps body in the group. Prompts or cues at a rate similar to others.
Expected Reactions	Introduction Typically over-reacts or under-reacts to peers. Needs full support from adults to react in expected manner.	Emerging Inconsistent responses and reactions to peers.
