Attendance/Promptness	Outstanding Student is prompt and begins answering warm up journal without reminding	Good Student is on time to class and answers warm up journal with reminder from teacher.	Fair Student is late to class yet still manages to answer warm up journal	Poor Student is late and is unable to answer warm up journal.
Engagement Level	Outstanding Student proactively contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions more than twice per class.	Good Student proactively contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions twice per class.	Fair Student contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions once per class.	Poor Student rarely contributes to class by offering ideas and asking questions.
Listening Skills	Outstanding Student listens when others talk, both in groups and in class. Student incorporates or builds off of the ideas of others.	Good Student listens when others talk, both in groups and in class.	Fair Student does not listen when others talk, both in groups and in class.	Poor Student does not listen when others talk, both in groups and in class. Student often interrupts when others speak.
