Emerging Student is able to identify the differences between a map (flat) and a globe (round) with partial physical prompts from staff.	Good Student is able to identify the differences between a map (flat) and a globe (round) with verbal/gestural prompts from staff.	Excellent Student is able to identify the differences between a map (flat) and a globe (round) indpendently.
Direction Idenity directions on a compass rose.	Developing -Students will using full physical prompts from staff identify the 4 directions on the compass rose: north, south, east, and west.Then use directions to find places on the map. Excellent -Student is abile to locate points on the map independently.
