Visual Inspection Visually inspect steering & suspension system	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance needed and all work was performed correctly.	Good Student satisfactorily inspected S&S system and accurately described its condition with little or no assistance.	Fair Student needed moderate assistance visually inspecting S&S system. Student did not accurately describe part condition or needed assistance evaluating condition.	Unsatifactory Student made no effort to to inspect S&S system or displayed no exposure.
Check Suspension System for Wear Ability to check steering & suspension system for wear & looseness.	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance was needed and interpreted results properly	Good Student completed the steering and suspension checks and accurately interpreted the results with minimal assistance. May have missed a key point.	Fair Student can perform steering & Suspension checks, but needed moderate assistance. Student needed moderate assistance evaluating the results.	Unsatifactory Student is unable to interpret the results independently.Student did not check for wear or looseness.
Follows Shop Safety Rules Student follows safety rules of shop. ie: wears safety glasses, operates equipment safely.	Excellent Student follows all safety rules in the shop and works in a safe manner.	Good Student works safely, needs reminders to keep safety glasses on.	Fair More frequent reminders to keep safety glasses on. Does not always work in a safe manner.	Unsatifactory Student can not work in the shop due to unsafe work habits
Clean -Up Student cleans work area. ie: put away tools and wipe down work area.	Excellent Student cleaned entire work area with no assistance.	Good Student cleaned work area with prompting.	Fair Student attempted to clean work area, but needed to be prompted.	Unsatifactory Student did not attempt put tools away or clean work area.
