Throwing Football

Student Shows the ability to Hold Fingers around laces of Football. Complete Body Roll. Twist of the Back Foot. And Signs of a Spiral

Poor (Level 1)

Student can not properly hold football. Fingers do not enfold laces. Little to no body roll on throw. With no spiral.
Fair (level 2)

Student has some fair capability of gripping the football. Student shows the basic body roll with a slight spiral of the ball.
Good (level 3)

Student can show most of the technique and is able to apply a complete body roll. Student shows spiral
Excellent (level 4)

Student shows almost all the proper technique. Shows a clear and descriptive capability to complete a spiral.
Kicking Football

Proper Grip/Point Toe with Extended Arm/ Contact Ball @Top/Ball Goes 20 Yards

Poor (Level 1)

The proper Grip of the football is not shown, with flat foot stance. Student does not make contact with the ball. Or ball travels less then 10 yards
Fair (level 2)

Student shows proper grip with toe slightly extended. ball travels over 10 yards.
Good (level 3)

Student shows proper technique. Without proper grip. Contacts the ball at the top. Ball travels 20 yards
Excellent (level 4)

The student shows all of the required techniques to execute the proper kicking style. ball travels 20 yards or more.
Running w/ Football

Proper Grip/Ball Tight to Chest/High Knees/Proper Handoff

Poor (Level 1)

Student unable to execute the proper grip, hangs ball loose the the side of body, Can not receive proper handoff
Fair (level 2)

Student shows they are comfortable with carrying the ball. Knees are running high with slight a slight proper technique when receiving handoff
Good (level 3)

Student carries the ball with the proper grip. Student shows high knees. Shows inconsistent height in knees drive.
Excellent (level 4)

Student shows the proper skills to be able to run with football. grips ball properly. Knees are high while running. And can receive the handoff properly with the inside arm up.
Catching Football

Proper Stance/ Show target/ Keep Eyes on ball/Catch with hands/ Catch Ball

Poor (Level 1)

Student does not show any type of stance. The focus level of student is not on the ball. Student catches the
Fair (level 2)

Student can perform skill with some consistency in showing a proper stance. Catches the ball with body oppose to with hands
Good (level 3)

Student can perform the skill on a consistent basis. Student catches the ball with hands. With inconsistent focus on the ball
Excellent (level 4)

Student can combine catching with movement to avoid a defender. while showing the capability to catch with hands.
