Hair Scrunchie - Grading Criteria

Machine Operation 2 pts ______/8pts	Poor The student has poor knowledge of sewing machine and needs help with threading and adjusting sewing machine on daily basis.	Needs Improvement Student needs help with the sewing machine most of the time.	Good Student needs help witht the sewing machine some of the time.	Exellent Student knew how to thread sewing machine and adjust the machine. Student was a help to others.
Seams: Straight Seams & Elastic 4 pts ______/16pts	Poor Seams are puckered and/or stretched. The seams are wider than what the instructions called for. Student did not keep correct sides of fabric together. Elastic is obviously twisted.	Needs Improvement Seams are wider than what the instructions called for but are not stretched or puckered. Some seams do not have correct sides of fabric together. Elastic feels twisted.	Good Seams are a little wider than what the instructions called for. Elastic does not feel twisted.	Exellent Seams are the correct width that the instructions called for. They are not puckered or stretched. Assignment has correct sides of fabric together. Elastic does not feel twisted.
