Content 40 pts	Distinguished Covers topic in-depth with details and examples. Subject knowledge is excellent.	Proficient Includes essential knowledge about the topic. Subject knowledge	Apprentice Includes essential information about the topic but there are 1-2 factual errors.	Novice Content is minimal OR there are several factual errors.
Visuals 20 pts	Distinguished Were useful, attractive, valuable and well chosen in presenting the topic to classmates.	Proficient Were somewhat useful, attractive and valuable.	Apprentice Were of little value or use in presenting the topic.	Novice Were not included or had no value or use in presenting the topic.
Collaborative Group Work 10 pts	Distinguished Works well with others. Assumes a clear role and related responsibilities. Motivates others to do their best.	Proficient Works well with others. Takes part in most decisions and contributes fair share to group.	Apprentice Works with others, but has difficulty sharing decisions and responsibilities.	Novice Cannot work with others in most situations. Cannot share decisions or responsibilities.
Oral Presentation Skills 15 pts	Distinguished Communicates ideas with enthusiasm, proper voice projection, appropriate language and clear delivery. Participated equally in delivery.	Proficient Communicates ideas with proper voce projection. Adequate preparation and deliver. Participated less than half to the delivery.	Apprentice Some difficulty communicating ideas, due to voice projection, lack of preparation or incomplete work. Participated 1/4 to delivery.	Novice Great difficulty communicating ideas. Poor voice projection. Little preparation or incomplete work. Participated minimally to delivery.
Length Requirement. 15 pts	Distinguished Presentation was at least 7 minutes in length.	Proficient Presentation was at least 6 minutes in length.	Apprentice Presentation was at least 5 minutes in length.	Novice Presentation was less than 4 minutes in length.
