Developing - Content is incomplete and/or inaccurate - Major points are not clear -No use of direct quotes
Organization & Structure	Skilled - Structure of the article is clear and easy to follow. -Flow of ideas is fluid and logical.	Proficient - Structure of the article is evident. - Paragraph transitions are present and adequate.	Developing - A lack of organization and structure detract from the content. - Article is disjointed and lacks logical transitions
Format, Punctuation & Spelling	Skilled - Article follows designated guidelines. - Article is the appropriate length as described for the assignment. -Very few or no faults with respect to spelling or punctuation.	Proficient - Article follows most guidelines. -Occasional faults in spelling or punctuation.	Developing - Article lacks many elements of the correct format. -Frequent errors in spelling or punctuation. - Article is inadequate or excessive in length.
