Most information on topic is included.	Fair Presentation is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking.	Poor Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.	Very Poor Does not meet expectations
Message Simple and complex ideas are put forward. Audience is identified and correctly addressed.	Excellent Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Register is always appropriate	Good Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Register is mostly appropriate;	Fair Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate. Register is sometimes appropriate	Poor Incomprehensible throughout. Uses English words throughout. Register is not appropriate.	Very Poor Does not meet expectations
Vocabulary/Content No repetition of key words. Use of thematic vocabulary is apropriate.	Excellent Writer goes above and beyond, using a wide variety of vocabulary.
