Gallery Walk Panel Rubric

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your poster board & presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the poster board presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your poster have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Topic is discussed and somewhat organized.	Poor More than 2 components of your board is missing. Topic is not discussed and components are not properly organized.
Presentation/Graphics	Excellent Poster board is attractive. Text is easy to read. Graphics, color and effects are used throughout to enhance presentation.	Good Poster board is attractive. Text is easy to read. More than half of the board uses graphics, color and effects to enhance presentation.	Fair Poster board is easy to read. Amount of text is too great for the amount of space provided. Less than half the poster has graphics or effects.	Poor The poster board is not easy to read. The amount of text is too great for the space provided. There is little use of graphics or effects.
Grammar and Mechanics	Excellent Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no grammatical errors.	Good There is less than 2 grammatical error on the presentation.	Fair There are less than 4 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Poor There are many grammar or mechanical errors on the presentation.
Information	Excellent All questions have been researched thoroughly and is correct. Group has excellent grasp on the data and information for their region.	Good All questions have been researched however answers contain minimal wrong or misinformation. Group has a good grasp on the data and information for their region	Fair 1-2 questions have not been researched and contain no information or content is irrelevant to the topic. Group has an emerging grasp on on the data and information for their region	Poor More than 2 questions have not been researched and contain no information or content is irrelevant to the topic. Group has no or very little grasp on the data and information for their region.
Use of Class Time	Excellent Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.	Good Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.	Fair Used some of the class time well during the class period.
