Point - Restatement of Question	Inconsistant Answer doe not make a point or restate the question,or does not completely answer the question that was asked.	Satisfactory Answer contain a sentence that makes a point or restates parts of the question but is not clear. The question is answered correctly.	Good Answer contains a clear sentence that states the point or the important parts of the question. Answers the question correctly.
Evidence - Details from Text	Inconsistant Evidence does not support or respond to the point OR did not appear to understand the questions, or find the correct answer in the text read.	Satisfactory May contain a direct quote or reference to the text to support their answers. The evidence supports and responds to the point but it is not totally clear.	Good Evidence from the text clearly and completely supports the point made.Either contains a direct quote or makes reference to the text to support the answer.
Explain - How your E backs your P	Inconsistant No development / explanation of the point, or it is unrelated.	Satisfactory Develops the point further but this is not clear.	Good Uses strong, clear sentences to explain/ develop the point.
Mechanics	Inconsistant Some significant errors in conventions, sentence fluency, or grammar.	Satisfactory One or two minor errors in sentence fluency, grammar, or conventions.	Good Flawless conventions and sentence fluency.
