Wanted Poster Rubric

Students will create a poster relative to one of the topics included in the Foundations of Government lapbook. The poster may compare/contrast opposing viewpoints or ideas, support a specific topic or inform the reader about the contributions of a person of significance during the 1770s and 1780s in US History.

Complete information	Poor The poster was very limited in nature and did not contain the required information.	Fair Student included some, but not all, of the required information.	Good Student included most, but not all of the required information.	Awesome The information presented was complete and covered every aspect required in detail.
Balance and organization	Poor Poster was not neat and did not use size, color or arrangement well.	Fair Words were too small or too large. Poster was not arranged well and not all the parts required were present.	Good The information was presented neatly but could have been better organized using a better arrangement of the elements and including headings.	Awesome The information was presented neatly and well organized, with understandable and clear headings.
