NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Student is OFF-TASK and practices UNPRODUCTIVELY. Does not participate in correct drills.
FAIR

Student is MOSTLY OFF-TASK and practices UNPRODUCTIVELY. Needs to be refocused often.
GOOD

Student is MOSTLY ON-TASK and practices PRODUCTIVELY. Sometimes chats on and off the court.
Rarely goofs off or laughs at inappropriate times. Participates in MOST drills.
EXCEPTIONAL

Student is ON-TASK and practices PRODUCTIVELY. Rarely chats on or off the court.
Does not goof off or laugh at inappropriate times. Participates ALL of the time.
PREPARATION

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Student is never prepared for practice and is not at practice at the right time most of the time.
FAIR

Student is normally not prepared for practice; has to be reminded for most practices; does not have practice gear
GOOD

Student is MOSTLY prepared for practice, knows most plays; has practice gear almost all of the time.
Knows most cues and is ready for most drills.
On time most of the time.
EXCEPTIONAL

Student is PREPARED for practice with gear, knows drills and plays.
Knows and pays attention to cues and is ready for each drill.
BEHAVIOR

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Student displays EXCESSIVE disruptive behavior such as: chatting while on & off the court, not paying attention, and distracting teammates.
FAIR

Student FREQUENTLY displays disruptive behavior such as: chatting while on & off the court, not paying attention, and distracting teammates.
GOOD

Student MOSTLY shows responsibility and respect and SOMETIMES displays disruptive behavior during class.
EXCEPTIONAL

Student SHOWS responsibility and respect and does NOT display disruptive behavior during practice. Does not make fun of mistakes. Listens and follows directions always.
