Compound words in sentences	Poor Added words together but they did not make sense in the sentence.	Fair Used the correct terms when combining words together.	Good Added words that made sense in the sentence, but was not enough for a complete sentence.	Excellent Correct compound words used, and correct sentence structure used.
Using more than one compound word	Poor Did not use any compound words creating the sentence.	Fair Used some compound words but did not make sense in the sentence.	Good Used at least one compound word in the sentences.	Excellent Used many compound words in the sentences and made sense.
Using punctuation/capitalization	Poor Did not use any punctuation or capitalization throughout the sentences.	Fair Only used capitalization in beginning of the sentence.	Good Used punctuation but did not us in the sentences.	Excellent Used both punctuation and capitalization throughout the sentences.
