Preparation	Poor I do not bring materials/assignments to class. I do not practice or complete homework, and make little contribution to class discussion.	Good I only have my materials sometimes. I finish my work about 1/2 the time, but could use more work and practice.	Satisfactory I only have my materials most of the time. I am able to complete my homework turn it in on time. I practice and work outside of class and make contributions to class discussions.	Excellent I always have my materials, practice often and complete my assignments. I make a positive contribution to class discussions.
Participation	Poor I have a bad attitude, am not willing to learn, and don't get along with others. I make little positive contribution to the class.	Good I display a good attitude, and participate in the class when I feel like it. I make a positive contribution to the class occasionally.	Satisfactory I display a good attitude most of the time, and participate in the class often. I make a positive contribution to the class most of the time.	Excellent I show leadership qualities and am always willing to learn. I participate regularly in class, and always make a positive contribution to the class.
Self-Advocacy	Poor I do not ask the teacher when I have questions.	Good I sometimes ask for help but expect the teacher to do the work for me when I ask for help.	Satisfactory I ask for help, but sometimes get frustrated when my teacher asks me to try again.	Excellent I always speak up for myself and ask for help when needed, after trying to figure out the problem by myself first.
