Shark Tank Presentation Rubric 
Students are creating a project based on the TV Show 'Shark Tank'. Students will be utilizing technology, their prior knowledge, and research to complete this project. This project also covers an array of persuasive techniques, proportion, percent, and data analysis. They will be presenting their projects in front of a panel of "Sharks" just as in the show. This panel will be grading the projects based on the following rubric.

Students had some of the material prepared but did not meet the criteria to it's full extent. Also could be due to lack of effort or disorganization.

Good

Criteria was met, and seemed organized. There were some minor issues.

25 pts

Excellence

All criteria was met. Well organized. Above and beyond.
No minor issues.

Students were to be creative in the way they presented.

Poor

Students did not present.
Fair

Students presented, but were unorganized, unprepared, not dressed for the part, or were not taking this project seriously.
Okay

Students presented, but were unorganized, unprepared, not dressed for the part, and/or were not taking this project seriously.
Good

Students presented but with some error.
Excellence

Students were dressed for the part, they were well organized and well prepared.
Visual Aid

Students are to have one or more visual aids to help them with their presentation.

No visual aids.
Fair

Visual aids were sloppy, not creative, unorganized, or did not pertain to the project.
Okay

Visual aids were present but were either uncreative or unorganized.
Good

Visual aids were present but with errors.
Excellence

Visual aids were captivating, creative, on target and well presented.
Question/Answer
5 pts

Students were presented with a Q/A session by the Sharks and classmates.

Poor

Students did not participate in the Q/A.
Fair

Students seemed unorganized or were not taking this portion seriously.
Okay

Students answered questions but were way off base from the topic.
Good

Students answered questions with limited error.
Excellence

Students eloquently answered the questions that they were presented with.
