Pronunciation & Punctuation	Needs Improvement Student had difficulty with word fluency and paid little attention to punctuation.	Satisfactory Student demonstrated some fluency and paid inconsistent attention to punctuation.	Good Student demonstrated good fluency and paid attention to punctuation.	Excellent Student demonstrated remarkable fluency and used punctuation to their advantage to add interest and suspense.
Volume & Clarity	Needs Improvement Student's voice was rarely clear, and did not project.	Satisfactory Student's voice was sometimes clear, and used some projection.	Good Student spoke mainly in a clear voice, and projected adequately.	Excellent Student spoke very clearly, and had excellent projection.
Phrasing, Timing	Needs Improvement Student either sped quickly, or spoke slowly through the script.	Satisfactory Student needs to improve on timing and phrasing.
