Good My title tells the purpose/content of the map and is printed at the top of the map.	Fair My title tells the purpose/content of the map, but is not located at the top of the map.	Poor The purpose/content of the map is not clear from the title.
Map Key I can use symbols to identify items on a map.	Excellent Key is easy-to-find and contains a complete set of symbols or colors labeled.	Good Key contains a complete set of symbols or colors labeled.	Fair Key contains an almost complete set of symbols or colors labeled.	Poor Key is absent or key lacks several symbols or colors.
Compass Rose I can identify the cardinal directions	Excellent Compass rose is easy-to-find contains cardinal directions labeled and sub-cardinal directions.
