Rubric for journal entries written for homework and/or in class.

Using a digital photo, grid the photo in a 2.5 cms grid. Then create a x2 cms grid on your drawing paper to transfer your drawing to. After transferring your drawing using the grid, use two different mediums and color/shade your drawing. You will be graded on incorporating your own personal artistic style, use composition and design, craftsmanship, and effort.

Brochure Requirements After reading the Non-Fiction biography of your choice, you need to create a brochure to tell about your book. Brochures are used to tell about something in a fun, interesting, and brief way so that people want to know more about whatever is being advertised. When creating your brochure, make it so that someone would want to read about your book after looking at your brochure.

Student must make a storyboard about 5-10 aspects of Life in Ancient Rome.

Create a dance that represents who you are or a big part of you. This can be done as a solo project or a small group project

Write a Personal Narrative Essay about an important,life-changing event from your life. Describe your memorable event in chronological order. Use the literary element flashback as an introduction technique. Include reactions in your personal narrative such as dialogue and emotions. Include a reflection in your essay on what you learned from this experience. Your personal narrative should be a five paragraph essay with an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
