Students will find three different versions of the cover of the novel, and write a five-paragraph essay in which they analyze each one. Students will explain the symbolism and visual representation of the novel portrayed. Students should also provide their opinion within the essay on which cover they feel is most effective and why. Essay should follow MLA formatting.

Criteria for completing current event articles in World Issues-Current Events.

- The student will choose a theme (from the list provided. - Paint a scene from the novel that depicts their chosen theme. - Include a written explanation of the scene and how it accurately depicts the theme (at least 1- 2 pages, double-spaced, size 12)

Students MUST: 1. Choose a theme from the list provided 2. Choose and type 10 quotes from the entire novel that showcase their chosen theme Or have 25-30photos that reflect the chosen theme 3. Choose to complete a scrapbook, painting, or photo album that is character-specific with the appropriate guidelines completed.
