This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when composing the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your destination have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Group work peer evaluation form

This rubric will determine whether your peers have learned something from the information you have presented to them.

The Presentation Team must present their understanding of assessment from chapters 1-10 , as a group to the class. Each member of the group must speak. You will earn a grade that reflects the accuracy and detail of your understanding, and the quality of the presentation of your findings. Each student on the group will earn a group collaboration grade. The group collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the group.

Submit a typed response as follows: A title page, 2-3 page response to questions posed in the case study, and a works-cited page. Cite at least five resources to support your response to the questions posed in the case study. Assignment will be graded on suffiency of research to support the questions in the case study, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, and relevance of included information.

The following rubric is so students will know what is expected of them regarding effort in doing class assignments: participation, cooperation, thoroughness in doing assignments, individual/group work, critical/creative thinking, etcetera.

Create a complete smoking cessation program. Include information on addiction, health risks, age and ethnic statistics for morbidity and mortality, behavior modification therapy, pharmacology, alternative strategies, group support, tips for success, reintegration of motivation after a slip, education for patients, family, and friends. Create a 30 minute PowerPoint presentation to market your product to a hospital to benefit, patients, staff, and family members.

The objective of this exercise is to build skills in order to initiate, advance and close an interview with a patient or patient's family regarding a difficult topic. Students will be allowed to research the topic prior to addressing the patient, discuss the application among group members and then approach the patient to discuss the difficult subject.

The student will utilize the SBAR model for communication to transfer the responsibility of care to another person.

Evaluation of the following objectives 1. Demonstrate appropriate communication skills with the patient and other healthcare professionals 2. Assess the pertinent aspects of the patient's condition 3. Plan appropriate strategies during CHF exacerbation 4. Connect the clinical problem presentation with the classroom theory and enhance critical skills and assessments.
