Final project requirements for a short fictional narrative video.

Students are to produce a 1-5 minute video based on topic of their choice. Students may work in a group of up to 3, and may work with students who have the same class, but at a different period of the day. Students must hand in a paper listing everyone involved in the video and the title of the video. Preproduction, production and post production are all parts of the assignment. Script must be completed on google drive, inviting teacher to view and comment.

All projects and assignments should follow the basic directives of the Graphic Design rubric.

In Adobe Illustrator, develop & design an event poster based on one of the vintage travel poster examples given. Assume a print size of letter (8.5"x11".) This is to be a 4 color process (CMYK) job. The vector art should be similar to the original vintage poster that the student has chosen, yet be creative and original. All headline and body copy from the original design must be used, but students should take the opportunity to rearrange their placement and change colors/fonts and other typographical elements in order to take better advantage of design principles. Students must save the design in the correct file format and place in a new InDesign document, then properly package the document for print production.

Produce a photo collage using Adobe Photoshop and illustrating a quote.

Create 3 CD covers using a random image, quote, and article title showcasing student knowledge of and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
