Objective: to present a current event in a country where the language the student is learning is spoken. Topics: sports, fashion, food, festivals, politics, and music. Students will individually present the news to the class (partnered work at teacher's discretion.) Students will be graded on their individual presentation.

Write an original story about a past event in French using the Passe Compose. Use the illustrations from Storybird.com as inspiration for your story 1. Write a minimum of 15 sentences 2. Use both verbs conjugated with Etre and Avoir. 3. Use at least 2 of the vocabulary words on pages 112 and 125.

Students will create a video of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of a dish from a Spanish speaking country. They will present the script by __________________. Students must incorporate past tense in Spanish (Pretérito and Imperfecto). Students will also incorporate formal commands in Spanish.

You must create two JINGS for each of the following: One for history and background information One for altar development and other relevant information. Total: 2 JINGS. This rubric is for assessing a digital story about family and home presented by my 7th grade level 1 Spanish students.

In Spanish, Students are to act out a scene related to their chosen career paths. They are to use at least 25 vocabulary words. Verb tenses & other grammar points used are up the students, however, they WILL BE graded on the correctness of it. Creativity is also up to them but the final presentation should leave NO room for improvement. Students MUST use any 5 or more costumes or props that may contribute to their entertaining performance. The presentation must be a minimum of 5 minutes long.
