This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Exam presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment.

Students are to write a 2-3 page paper from a first-person perspective. Please discuss the following thoughts: 1. What have you learned or didn’t learn in the classroom to prepare you for your externship? 2. Is there a specialty you’re interested in and why? 3. Do you feel prepared to go on extern, if not why? 4. What would be your ideal position? 5. What are your future plans?

Universal standard for all staff to assess student's conduct.

Each student will prepare a 1-2 page, double-spaced paper, using Times New Roman font, size 12. The topic of "Why I want to be a Medical Assistant and go into the Healthcare field", should be used. Each student will present his/her paper to the class orally without using their paper. It should not be read, it should be presented.

Regular attendance and active class participation are expected from all students in this class. This rubric will be used to assess your performance in this area.
