The following rubric is a checklist for singing skills. In order for you and I to analyze your current vocal skills, sing a round that we have learned here in class. Your evaluator will then judge what they hear and write down 2 compliments and 1 critique.

The following rubric is a checklist for singing skills. In order for you and I to analyze your current vocal skills, you can choose a song from your Ipod to sing for me by yourself while you listen to the song with your earbuds. That way, you can hear the melody and sing along, but I can hear your voice and see your face and body in order to give you constructive feedback. Also, I will videotape you so that YOU ALONE can see and hear yourself as well. I will NOT show the video to your classmates. You will then complete the rubric below.

Students will assess themselves/partners on their dictation skills. A portion of music will be played and students will dictate the rhythm. Then the dictation will be graded using this rubric. Follows standard MHSBP.3c Reading and Notating Music through a dictation method.
